I have a question: How far away do you have to be from someone else to be "heard" when you type something in game?

Really? Are you sure? I'm almost certain most of the things I say almost no one hears and only when I die/ become a spectator do I hear a lot of the things people say.

I don't think so. I think tributes only see what other tributes say from a certain distance. There have been many times where someone told me what someone said while I was in game but I never saw it in my chat. What that distance is, I'm not sure.

Yup, the player has to be somewhat close to you for you to hear them.

Wrong, it's a small distance. I think 30/50 blocks. I dunnolol.

Just to clarify, I meant

Spec hears spec+tribute
Tribute hears tribute+in a short distance /w

Btw, if you type on a server, everyone hears unless there is a certain plugin, no matter how far.
