Chests.

Hello there. I have been playing MCSG for a while now and there is something that bothers me. Everytime I play I do usually find 6-9 chests, but not a single one ever contains any better than Stone Sword and Leather armor. I do usually make it to the deathmatch and the ones i'm forced to battle do usually have full iron armor and a diamond sword. I'm simply wondering if some chests always contain better items than others or if i'm incredibly unlucky.

theres 2 Tier's off chests. Tier 1: what you normally loot (Stone sword leather armor) and Tier 2 which gives things like gold chain and iron armor and diamonds (Not diamond swords) and cooked food. tier 2 chests are normally in less obvious places or hard to reach places so keep your eyes open when looking around.

They're not even hard to reach, they're just potentially time-consuming. SG 1, 2, and 4 all have tier 2 chests that are easy to reach, but require you to travel a greater distance to get to them. This is why a good route is important - quick in, quick out. Also, some places in a map stand out - finding a chest on the ground in the middle of nowhere is likely only going to get you a wooden sword or sticks, but finding one in, say, a cabin on an island that requires some swimming to get to...
