I don't want any arguments on this, just opinions.

I'm sure we have all gone through the experience of having a great start to a game, getting all the way to deathmatch, to only then get teamed on by a stacked team of two. If you haven't, then it will definitely happen soon.

I hate to compare to the Hive as quite frankly, I don't really like the Hive that much, however something I do like about the hive is the Deathmatch involving 4 people rather than 3. In my personal opinion, this is so much better than the current deathmatch on MCSG. Granted that these are two completely different servers with different communities. I believe that the implementation of the 4 man deathmatch is a perfect idea. Although the issue can be drawn up about having a 3 team in deathmatch. I don't know about anyone else but I rarely run into a 3 team, and even if I do, they normally aren't very geared up.

So the question; should MCSG consider making the deathmatch aspect of their Survival Games expand to having 4 participants?

*sigh*
Do you know how many times this has been suggested?
Sorry to be that guy, but the amount of these threads is OVER 9000.

I really hope this becomes a No-No Suggestion. Sorry.

How about you give a reason rather than make a useless post?

A new arena is the thing that can make the deathmatch better, like Hive.
A "big" arena for the deathmatch and not anymore the corn of the maps.

Basically, this is the way I think of it:

- If the two people team right there and weren't teamed before death match, THAT is annoying.
- If they were teamed the whole game, then it's ok.
- If they were teamed the whole game and say "rekt" or "ez", THAT is annoying.

I think that if there was a 4 man deathmatch, then it would make it a lot more interesting certainly. As explained above, a 2v2 in a deathmatch would be quite entertaining to watch. I think a 3 man deathmatch a lot of the time is quite unfair for the one player who has to fight a team of two, but then again, that's Survival Games for you.

Okay, you asked for it:
Pros-
-would allow two teams, or 3 1v1s
-would stop 2-teams in dm from winning all the time
-could make boosting less common
Cons-
-allows 3 teams instead
-if there are two teams and a single player, that player basically has to take out one team and immediately take out another team and sometimes a single player in dm
-if there is a 1v1v1v1, it will be MORE indecisive than a 3-player ffa
-more cleanups
-even shorter cames
-makes refill practically impossible to occur
-causes people to have less gear going into dm
-bigger dm arenas for every map, or a feeling of clausterphobic chaos
-the original Hunger Games WAS a 2v1
I think the 4 man deatchmatch would make games too short, it works on Hive because the maps are made differently, the games last longer than MCSG's 3-man deatchmatch.
What if there is a 3 man team?
3 is suitable with MCSG's maps!
To make it sweet and short, I think that'll make the games too short. I rarely get 15 minute games anymore, most of them are quick 5-10 min ones. I'd hate to get even shorter games. : /
My fear is that one day a player like darkrai202 hops into a game and he gets to the hypothetical 4 person deathmatch. Now today he decided not to disguise, or instead, his disguise was revealed. He stumbles upon one player who is half decent and two crappy people. They all team up on him. He then needs to face a 3v1 as opposed to fighting a 2v1. The only way of preventing this is asking one of the crappy players to team so it becomes a 2v2 with backstabs galore, and I believe that is counter intuitive.
No pls. Fighting teams of 3 in a flat arena where you can't really separate them or create a "choke point" for fire = not fun.
With the arena getting smaller as time goes on I honestly don't see a way to win teams in deathmatches unless you out gear them, they're really bad or you get lucky. Best way before was to run away til they'd separate and take them out separately; you can't really do that anymore except on maps with a particular type of centre like Icarus, Breeze, etc. Even still it's quiet challenging.
taking on a team of 2 at dmatch is hard enough >.<
A 4 man death match will also make games shorter.

Hey! Well, a quick idea of why MCG does only three is because the fact of the movie. They want to stay close to the movie because that is what originally happened in the end of "The Hunger Games."

Wtf are you talking about? There wasn't a death match of any sort in The Hunger Games.
