Diamond armour from lobby

Hey, reasonably new here!

I managed to find the diamond leggings in the lobby. I put them on and then when it was time to start at corn they were gone. Is this normal or did I do something wrong?

Completely normal. It would be unfair to be able to get Diamond Armor off the start from lobby

The diamond armor is just for the lobby, and you dont get it in game. There are also a helmet and boots in the lobby, see if you can find them!

I managed to find all but the chestplate, is there actually a chestplate or are they trolling us XD
