Personally from a lot of experience playing I find the diamond sword just to be plain ridiculous. There is only luck in finding one, and you are almost guaranteed to win if you get one. There is no skill in getting them and they are just not balanced.

All you have to do is memorize where the tier 2 chests are located in each map, and bam. Diamond sword. Now, the next step is your ability to use it... Or, hah, your ability to click. How fast is it?

Diamond swords only do 1/2 a more heart than iron swords, and 1 more heart than stone swords. Also, if someone has a diamond sword, they're usually overconfident. Use this to your advantage and release your warrior-side on them.
