Fire Glitch

So when ever there is tall grass ad u put it on it it doesnt light and there is no Invisible fire. I wasted 4 flint and steels on nothing but it just disappearing. Is this an issue?

Really? When I place fire on tall grass it just hovers above the grass.

Just avoid areas with tall grass in them to light people on fire.
Probably, like VeeZa said, yet another bug.
