I Appreciate the server help! I got to play my first game! Also, the pointers were very helpful too. I only played a game for fifteen minutes; because of some lag. I Can't wait to play my next game!

Your Welcome, If its client sided lagg ( "bad" computer ) You might wana install the mod called Optfine, it give you the possibilty to downgrade some things which will reduce lagg.

pick a server out of this list and join them like you would for any other server (so copy the ip and paste it into the server address in the multiplayer menu))

Well i typed the ip into multiplayer and i tried to join it and it keeps telling me it is an outdated server

It's probably because your client is 1.3.1. The server is still 1.2.5 so you have to change back.

well thats most likely because you have updated to 1.3.1 when the servers are still 1.2.5 atm
