It's most likely not lag. It's NCP. It will get tweaked/removed some day. If u don't know wat it is, it is a hacker thing that doesn't make you hit another player. Just wait a few seconds and u can hit him/her again.

NCP is an anti-hack plugin. Sometimes it thinks you're using a forcefield when you're actually not, and reacts by preventing you from dealing damage.

What I hate is though they have been saying that for quite a while now and I see no difference...

It's an NPC bug aswell as the NoCheatPlus bugs, it thinks you are speed hitting but instead of kicking you, it stops you from hitting people. A way to keep this from happening is to click slower, or block hit at an average speed.

It's NoCheatPlus, not lag. And yeah, it sucks, but it keeps us from not actually dying in the face of invincible hackers. Don't worry, though, we're working on it.
