In my opinion, I think this server needs a SERIOUS revamp. In the past somewhat 4 months, there have been a large increase in hackers, and a lot more that doesn't need explaining. Being honest, I think the mods and admins are not even caring for the community as much as they need to. Also, when they try to do their job, they ban people in ridiculous ways, such as acronyms and play fighting in chat (such as "I'm gonna kill you" in a friendly way). In one game, i found a team of 2 hackers and 3 teams of 3. Problems that probably can't be fixed is how so many people team now because solo sg came out and is not very popular. And another thing that probably can't be fixed is how people use play styles that just isn't fair to the game anymore. Including clean-ups, randy teaming, etc. And usually, the only time i see a mod or admin doing its job in chat is saying "No flooding the chat", when i really think they should be more worried about the games and community. And about the community, people have been very aggresive and haven't even been friendly to one another, and not in the "play-fighty" kind of way. People get mad and go on serious rampages on very unneeded insults. I don't mean to compare, but whenever I go on Badlion, theres always someone who talks friendly, greeting people and etc. No offense to mods or admins out there, but it's the truth. If there was such a fix like this, then this would become the server it used to be, and maybe even be the best.

I would love to read the entire post, I really would... But I saw Badlion. Then I read the bit after it. I enjoy Badlion, but you cant say their community is "always friendly" and tell the truth at the same time. ;)

Another one of these posts. Great. While there is a lot of points stated in this post, I will address the one relating to staff activity and staff effectiveness. I cannot reveal any numbers to you but I can assure you that we are constantly banning hackers from all regions. We ban a large amount of hackers every day and we are constantly working with each other to be a more effective staff team. We have multiple programs in place to train and help moderators in finding hackers and not falsely banning innocent players.

An example is the hacker identification training that is required for all moderators to attend. I also cannot reveal too much about this session but it involves learning about how to detect certain hacked clients, certain modifications (Kill Aura, Speed etc) and how to handle them. Please, stop blaming the staff team for any hackers you find and help us out by recording and reporting them in the report abuse section. We don't get as many reports as we should and it definitely helps us out. Thanks.

LOL YOU HAVE TO BE BLIND TO NOT DETECT THOSE
People can't even get banned for using 8 block triggerbot because it's looking directly at the player, obviously it's just "ping"

They were examples. The actual list of hacked clients we are trained to detect is much more extensive and contains both common and easy to detect modifications and rare hard to detect modifications.

The difficulty with the "hard to detect" hacks is that it is quite controversial as to whether or not they are hacking, for example if someone has "triggerbot" which pretty much just attacks like kill aura but it doesn't head snap and it only attacks when your crosshair on the player's hitbox, if you just set your range to about a quarter of a block more than normal, who really decides whether it's hacks or not? Moderators should be trained to screenshare in my opinion.

If you mean screenshare as in we need to share our screen with other moderator's when finding hackers, we usually record a hacker and upload it. But if we are unsure, we ask other moderator's in our staff chat and link them to our recording. I am not sure if that is what you meant though.

I mean for you to ask the players that seem suspicious to screenshare and show their versions folder (an in-depth video of screensharing is here:
)

MCSG has a good community, a good anticheat, a good staff, and a decent non buggy plugin.
