Game rigged?

I love MCSG and have donated etc...

I just dont understand how I die with full iron armor and an iron sword against a person in leather armor and a wooden sword? We were both hitting eachother and he killed me?

Please explain why?

MCSG is not rigged, the other person was just probably really good (or possibly a hacker). As kaiomann said check out the strategy section here.

I've beaten people with similar odds before. Unless you counted every hit you and he landed, It's really just conjecture.

Now, if he was hacking, and you had proof, You could report him in the report abuse section.

It should happen, otherwise the people with the best stuff would win every battle unless they are low on health. I would say that he probably got more hits and played more tactical while you rolled into the fight thinking that you automatically won.

Just because your gear is statistically better doesn't mean that you instantly win the fight.
His sword only deals a few hearts less than yours, he only needs an extra hit or two to even out the dps. He also may have been block hitting, which cuts your damage dealt to him in half.
In short, minecraft PVP isn't all about who has the better gear, tactics and strategies are a key part to winning fights.
