What's up, MCSG. I've decided to help the community out again. Today, I'm going to be talking about reporting hackers and how you don't need to join the hub and tell a mod that there's a hacker. Although that is an effective way to do it, it's not the greatest.

Anyways, the best way to do it is to D.I.Y. (Do it yourself)

How to do it;

~It's very simple, all you have to do is go and download a free screen capturing program (Ex. bandicam) and record the hacker doing his dirty lil' hacks. After you've got some solid footage, you're gonna want to upload that to YouTube with a preferred title of the users name of the hacker (Ex. Johny1337_yolt).

~After you've uploaded your snazzy footage to YouTube, it's time to fill out a report abuse template (You can find it here; http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com/threads/report-abuse-templates.6742/)

~Now you're gonna want to create a thread in the report abuse section and paste that template out. (Remember to link your video-proof!)

~Once you're done, post it and a mod will review it quickly, find that guy in-game and he shall be banned for his illegal actions!

Thank you for reading through this quick little guide, and I hope it helped you all out (Including people who post reports on profiles of staff members) and I hope you haz a wonderful day.
Hasta la vista, MCSG.

A few notes from the amazing @Tacoface1234 !

    • While recording evidence, maintain focus on the rule breaker. Don't stop to check his records, don't talk in chat at all.
    • Depending on what type of hack, focus on that particular region of the client. If they are sprint hacking, focus on the feet. If aimbot, try to view things from slightly higher up.
    • Always set evidence videos to unlisted. This way, only those with the link will be able to see the video.

P.S.
This also helps you out in becoming a mod!

To the people on the hub saying: "Hacker in US5, please come!", I say "You don't need a moderator to deal with that... You can always record him yourself . Which is true. Some people forget about they can also record themselves. If they keep on spamming on the hub there is a hacker in the server, while ignoring me, I usually spare my time and report them myself.
I'm sorry but I do have to point something out. Not everyone can download screen recorders, even free ones. Some people have stricter parents and are not allowed to download it and/or have parental locks on it. My computer stupidly still has the locks on it even though my parents don't seem to care, but every time I want to open dxtory she has to type in her password. So some people are simply unable to record and need help from moderators/helpful players.

In that case, you're right on asking, but ask properly. I recommend asking moderators on teamspeak rather than in the hub.

Today I saw someone going first like "The people and some mods in the games are harassing me! They are all some p***s and ****s."
and then a mod (I don't remember who) was kindly asking him to relax and he flooded the whole chat going like "Why arent mods helping me" "Sorry I am so mad!" "Heeelp" "Wtfff" and all that stuff...

Yes. Just from bypassing the filter its an automatic kick; There is no need to give a warning, same applies for block glitching.
And the mod didn't even say a swear word or something he just kindly asked him to "Don't flood the chat please."

The Title doesn't make 100% percent, cause the mods are the ppl who actually ban them, not you. All you do is actually gather the proof

If you have proof of that, report him on the forums or send me the evidence (If there is any) via Inbox.
