How have hackers evolved in the past months?
Are you seeing any changes in their behavior?
I for one, have.
The first thing I've noticed is that US hackers try less to conceal their hacks. Speed, fly, and wide ranged KillAura are all popular. I have also noticed a decrease of the use of No-Knockback. I have no idea why.
Secondly, there seems to be a lot of hackers on Battlegrounds as well. This is odd, because BG doesn't even have a leaderboard. All that happens is they win over and over. What in the world is the point?
Finally, I've noticed that US hackers are getting dumb-I mean, less intelligent. Several hackers I've seen recently never admit to hacks. Ever. I've never seen these players act so blind to their own actions.
Here's some excerpts from a little talk between a 2 team and a 2 team with a hacker. I replaced the names so I wouldn't get in trouble for harassing another member, and the conversations aren't word for word.
LegitTeamer1: hax
LegitTeamer1: banned
HACKER: nice hacks
HACKER: ur gonna ban me whenb ur the one with hacks?
LegitTeamer1: type .help
LegitTeamer1: on chat
*nothing shows up*
LegitTeamer1: =P
LegitTeamer1: exactly
LegitTeamer2: type it
HACKER: i did
*hacker eventually gets owned by the legit teamer's friend*
HACKER: nice hacks LegitTeamer2
HACKER: im not banned because i dont hack
Come on. This guy knows that he's been caught, then he blames the other team of having a hacker. I filed his report earlier today.
I've heard that many EU hackers act like this, but I can't confirm that.
Anyway, what are your thoughts on how hackers have changed? Are the most common hacks losing popularity? Why does Battlegrounds have hackers? Are they all getting smarter or less smart?
So many questions!
