I am starting

Hey guys
Today I have started to play MCSG cbrown10 an irl friend told me I should play. I ended up with a good ratio but I want some people to tell me a few things like how to pvp good texure packs I should use and stuff before I keep continuing playing

Welcome to the community! I have one tip for you. Use the fishing rod tactic for PvP, that's how you will get better. As of texture packs, they don't really make a difference. You can find a lot of useful stuff in this section: http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com/forums/strategies/

Some other tips:
1) Get chestroutes on maps and try finding tier 2 chests.
2) Learn fishing rod tactic, you can get amazing combos with a fishing rod and it's easier to fight teams and better players.
3) Learn how to use flint and steel and not be obvious with it.
4) Learn how to strafe and block hit.
5) Start being good with the bow, try to think where your opponent will move and don't waste arrows.
6) Try doing critical hits. They do more damage then regular hits. You do critical hits by jumping, you only get them when you are moving down not up.
7) Go in clans and play with players that are better than you, that's how you will improve your skills. Don't avoid good players.

My tip: Download teamspeak and join our IP at TS.mcsg.in when you play. It's a great way to co-ordinate with new people, and you can easily contact one of us on it if you see a rule breaker whilst playing.
