I love the 1.8 update!

I don't know if its just me but i love the knew update i am getting insane hits, i love the knew 1st person spectator mode and all in all i just think that its a great update!

I personally like it as well. It makes PvP fun and diverse, because it's considerably different from before. Plus I was getting bored of PvP, and MCSG updated to 1.8, and I found myself enjoying PvP again but in a different and fun way.

TBH I dont know why people complain I love it O always played 1.8 when it first came out cause I get good fps on it

Glad to see more people are liking the 1.8 update! I personally have found much to like about it as well. Some of the things you have already mentioned, but I will list a few:

PvP is actually not bad. In my opinion it's better
Bow delay is supposedly reduced
Spectator mode
More blocks mean more opportunities for mapmakers to create better maps

This list my be updated over time, but for now these are my favorite things about 1.8.
