My guess is that the ban was only his first or second, thus, it only lasted a week. He probably hacked, or did something wrong again, and earned another ban, be it his third, or just second. Heck, he might not even be permanently banned, and could have just quit.

Odds are, you probably won't get an official answer to this, because honestly, it doesn't matter at this point. Leafy hacked, he was banned. He's just like any other banned hacker ever, he just gained more publicity because of his ridiculous hacks. I think it's fair to say it's about time to let Leafy go.

Regardless, my answer, is that the ban that's become oh-so-famous was only his first, or second ban, and the next was his third strike, or he just quit.

If I can remember correctly, we had to transfer our ban database to another database and some perm banned players accidentally were unbanned, when they were seen on the server, they were rebanned. This was a very long time ago, like 11 months ago?
