I'm Great At PvPing, But I Suck At Winning Games

For the past 10 games or so, I've been doing really well. I have usually killed 4-6 people in each game, and have taken down a few teams. However, I am terrible at Deathmatch. I don't know if it is nerves or what, but it's bad.

Are any of you also worse at Deathmatch than the other time of the match? Or vise-versa?

I never seem to win either, I think I would have 300+ wins if I played strategically, I just yolo it constantly, but I'm pretty damn good at PvP.

Wow. Story of my life. I agree with Blitz don't Yolo it and just run around deathmatch thinking you've already won. Deathmatch is arguably one of the hardest parts of the game. You have to kill 2 people in a small area. You have to think about what you're gonna do, when you're gonna light them on fire, when to shoot them with your bow, when to attack them etc. Just think it through and don't run around swinging your diamond/iron sword expecting to win.

I feel as if the strategy of letting the other 2 fight first is well known but maybe not. If you can try and get the other 2 to fight first and you hold off and snipe them, when they finish fighting you charge at them with everything you have, I suggest getting a quick stun with a fishing rod to muddle up their sprint and then you can kill them. I hope this helped

Deathmatch is the easiest if you've played the game well and gotten the best gear.

I never have this happen really, I never pay much attention to the game and therefore I don't get very nervous either, I pretty much autopilot 90% of all survival games games I play. But if you want a strat for deathmatch maybe it can help you to try and get the 2 other people to attack each other, and then once one of them is dead and the other one is on low health, to go get an easykill on the other one. It's a cheap strat but it pays off.

Oh boy I hate when that happens. I think I should be PVPer of the year, and ten minutes later I throw my computer out the window because I can't beat a guy with a stone sword when I get a d sword.
