So, I was playing a game on SG4, and someone decided to trap me in the lava hangar. As some of you know, there's a small safe spot near the back right corner. I sat there for awhile with only a wooden hatchet, chain chestplate, and iron boots. I thought I had no choice but to wait for deathmatch when some guy came along with a bow trying to shoot me. He clicked the button again.
I didn't know this until now, but that will switch off the lava. It won't flow from the ceiling anymore. It gave him a clearer shot, but I managed to hide from his shots for awhile when my brother, who had been watching my exploits on my screen, pointed out that some of the lava was actually DISSIPATING. Well, naturally, I didn't believe him. Then he pointed and I watched as some of the lava just faded away. A tiny, tiny bit at a time. So, I waited.
The dude who was bowshotting me gave up and walked away, but I went over to the chests, since there was a clear path to it now. I opened the chest, and I was HIT from behind into the lava. I don't mean the lava got me, I mean I went flying forward into the lava. There was nobody around, I made sure of it in spectator mode, and specs shouldn't be able to hit. Push, mayyyybe on certain glitchy occasions, but hit? No. I'm wondering if anyone was in that game and saw what happened, or if this is common, or what?
Either way, I feel I was cheated out of having an opportunity to test my skills against a couple diamond swords in deathmatch. I even had it planned out. Thanks for reading, sorry for ranting ^_^
