Is editing some textures of texture packs against the rules?

I mean like making things like chests easier to notice like making it neon green or making trapped chests red stuff like that. Dont want to be accused of cheating when i record hackers and accidently get myself banned as well

As long as you don't use an X-Ray texturepack it is allowed. Most things in vanilla minecraft are allowed.
