So i was giving this a bit of thought how much of PVP is based on your internet connection, For example my self i would say i am average enough at PVP i can win the odd game xD 35 out of 2000 :p hehehe. I know all the techniques but allot of the time it just seams that the other persons hit are registering allot more im not sure or else im just bad
:(.

My internet speed is shocking i get 2 down and .5 up :(

Can any one shine a light on this question Thanks :)

The best players tend to have the best PCs and the best connection. It does give them a slight advantage over others but it isn't just about that. There isn't one PVP technique you have to follow, each player should develop their own style, find what way works best for them. For example, I play on a laptop which rarely ever gives me more than 60 FPS, so I've learnt to play defensively and I'd say it works well for me. If you have problems with connection I'd advise you to not play aggressively, use secondary weapons to defend yourself, run for a while of you have to.

Thanks Voei that was extremely helpful because i tend to be a very aggressive player, i must try and start playing more defensivly and see how it gose and i also play on a laptop and average around 30-40 fps :/

It definitely helps, but unless your connection is utterly atrocious PvP is still going to be largely based on skill. If you do have a bad connection you can try to play a more defensive game, fighting less people as Voei said. Fighting less people will reduce your "lag deaths." Most games I don't even go to corn, and just go on my route and ignore people. You can also do a few things to speed up/maximize your connection. Make sure you don't have any other programs that connect to the internet open while playing minecraft (Steam,YouTube, other games ,etc.) Closing these programs will also increase your in game framerate.
