It's a useful strategy but can get a bit annoying by someone else you are battling. ( I get very annoyed by bow spamming)

I really don't like being bow spammed; however, I have to remember that I do it to other people too. I personally would like to see less arrows in chests so that bow spamming is not so overpowered. Block hitting was basically removed in 1.8 which some people think is good, but I personally liked block hitting. It was a very useful strategy when in close quarters and it could even be used while strafing.
