Killed someone in Survival games, But there stuff wasnt in Inventory

I killed someone in the Survival Games, and there stuff sucked into my inventory (i saw Iron armor ect.) but when i looked in my inventory it wasn't there and i picked all of it up, nothing was new, What the hell? i wasn't lagging either, this basically screwed me over in the game

I'm guessing you saw white armor on the floor. Since the now you can dye your armor, default leather armor will look white on the ground, but normal brown color in the inventory/armor slot. This can be frustrating sometimes, lol.

When attempting this, if your not fast it lags back. So is this even legal?
