In 2013 i started playing on mcsg, back then it was some of the most fun I had ever had on minecraft I played all the way untill someone at "Mcsg" thought it would be a good idea to add a hub and other games modes for the reason i presume is to get more money. I stopped playing shortly after the hub was released, not because of it but i was just bored of minecraft. I recently went on to play on the servers and just for the record it was the most unplayable, hacked filled mess i've ever played. I miss the old days when i had to you to the server list to see which ones were restarting then keep trying to join them. I don't care if anyone puts some excuses for these changes its just my thought!

Why would MCG add "hubs and gamemodes" to profit? They were trying to make the server more enjoyable, and "diverse" for people who enjoyed other things, and didn't want to sit playing SG all day. Even if MCG did something to profit, it's because they needed to to keep the server running, for all the people who complain along the way, who (by the way) still play on MCG.

I see how old players can maybe be frustrated on how the things they've loved have changed for the "worse". But yeah, I miss the old days, some activities which are not even related to gaming. Everything changes though, because if things didn't, everything would be stale, and no one would like it......I bet MCG has grown a lot since you've last played?

I understand fully why they did do it, keep the servers running etc, I joined this server for mcsg, not mcgamer although i understand why I feel that mcsg is dead. Although i've spent a vast amount of time on mcsg, I will never regret doing so as I had so much fun playing. I just thought i'd write this to point out people do miss how mcsg used to be and I am one of them.

The staff is doing there best dude...To be honest I think there doing a pretty damn good job

Oh no doubt about it man the staff are great, they are doing the best they can I have nothing against them or anyone on the servers just the server itself

Honestly I feel like its not the server ur mad at its the hackers is that it?

No man, any server you go on now has hackers, overall I feel the server is just laggy and unbearable.

How is MCSG dead when you can go to the top of the page and see that MCSG always has 1700+ players online?

As a veteran player myself, I can understand where you're coming from. I personally think that our network was much better back then. It was more tightly knit, closer, and was more fun. Most people knew each other, there was a lot more mutual respect for other players, and the community was at its peak. Unfortunately, all things change. We expanded our network to open up our Survival Games to everyone, and to add some other fun things to do along the way. Survival Games has always been our main focus, but it doesn't hurt to try to expand to other things, which is why I become angry when people criticize us for opening up other gamemodes. I understand it may not be what it used to, but we're trying our hardest to make sure that it's the best that it can be c;
