Alright, I will provide you people the first useful answer:
You can't really say that, not every windows computer is the same. Apple always has similar hardware in their computers, but since windows computers can be made by anyone, I built mine myself, they can contain really different hardware. So you can't say if one of them is better harwarewise. Lagwise it normally is the videocard that decides how much FPS you get, sometimes it can be your internet connection. My personal suggestion is to go with windows though because macs are not really made for gaming even though they can have good performance. Windows is just a lot more free and you can usually change your computer later if you have a desktop. I hope this helps you.

I use iPopcorn to game on, it's a very easy to use, non-laggy device.

in all seriousness, iMacs are better than crappy laptops, but gaming laptops/gaming computers/high quality PCs are better to play on than iMacs. PCs are better to record on, too.
