Major Glitch, One Hit Bug

I have no idea what has happened as I'm using the normal Minecraft client. But for some reason for my last 2 games, I have one-hitted everyone, even using my fists. Please help me, as I don't want to be banned for hacking when I've never used a hacking client in my life. I'd rather this get fixed as soon as possible before this ruins the game-play for everyone.

I wish I could use evidence to prove this but I didn't take any screenshots, however I want to make sure that the developers are aware of this.

This has been reported a lot of times now. It's a bug and will be fixed.

So when you punch them with your fist they just die and drop their stuff, does it say in chat that the person you punched died? We need a little more info.


EDIT: Okay seems like people reported this before.

Yes, as I punch them they immediately die and drop their stuff like I would of killed them normally, and gaining points as you normally do

and yes, it does say in chat the person you killed. I would also like to mention that your sprinting speed is significantly increased in addition to your walking speed. You can essentially sprint backwards, it's ridiculous.
