I am really confused how this will stop the hacker problem, let alone bring players back. Just because now we have an efficient system we don't have to go to the old expensive one. The "nostalgia" will definAtely not bring players back just imagine someone saying this. "OMG the signs are back let's go back to playing MC!" Most people have quit not because of the new system but because of other things like boredom, got real life problems etc. Sorry for being so blunt but saying that new players will come back because of signs is ridiculous.

From what I understand is that you mean its easier for us to find hackers with less servers?
First of all, with this new system, we have way less servers up and running at once than before. Before we had like 200+ servers open and now we have about 50?
How it works is, there are a couple servers open, once the system sees that they are filling up, it generates more servers with a random name; consists of 3 or 4 numbers.

And we don't go server to server to find the hacker. We have 2 commands that could help us. We have one that brings us to the server that that user (hacker) is in. Or a command that shows us what server number he is in.

To be quite honest with you that's not really what I meant. I meant, for MCSG's player size back in the older days (2013-2014) There were around 4,000 players online, which menat that the servers would fill up much better and quicker. Now, since players are leaving because of the hackers, tryhards, UUUUUUUGE *Donald refrence* teams that are in MCSG.. you guys aren't having much players to fill up the lobbies, not to mention the switch to 1.8 which was just STUPID, in all honesty you guys should have made a POLE to ask if we want 1.8.. let the players who constantly play SG every day decide.

And, back on to what I said about hackers. Since there were more players and more servers being full, if there was a hacker the community would get much more involved and will get the hacker banned. When I was in SG games back in 2014, EVERYONE talked about the specified hacker or team of hackers in a game and recorded/got the hacker banned. The community was MUCH better. It would also be much easier to join games, and I heard that Chad made this switch to 1.8 because it would cost less money? That is just demented if that is true. And you guys now have LESS THAN ONE THOUSAND PLAYERS! (At this point in time) You used to get 4,000 i'm just gonna leave the community. Congrats, you guys have ruined MCSG for the worse. I knew this was going to happen eventually, when you do something GOOD to bring the community back hit me up and i'll get back in . In about 1 month maybe, you guys will dip to 800 players, less of Chad's beautiful money will come in . I can't believe how you guys messed up the community so badly.. it seems almost impossible in my mind. P.S: ASK THE COMMUNITY BEFORE YOU DO SOMETHING LIKE MERGE. Another server called ZincBox did that and they completely screwed up the community. And the owner their along with the staff is so abusive and bad, that server has a lot of MCSG properties, you guys need to do something and do it fast.

Switch the servers back to 200.

ASK BEFORE YOU DO SOMETHING HUGE.

Ban hackers at faster rates.

Add better chat filters.

Make the hacker evidence expectations much less. Someone shouldn't get denied for writing "sample text" on their video for example..

Restore the community while you still have time.. soon it will go to 500 players and you guys will have no return

First of all. Just because it annoys me so much "Poll." In regards to your point about 1.8 we HAD to upgrade to 1.8. The game updates and we have to update with it to compete with other servers. I don't see the issue with 1.8 and many people have gotten over how much they hate. IF you hate it so much the devs were kind enough to enable 1.7 again so you can play either so your point there is useless.

I have no idea where you got from but that is nowhere near the truth as I said above we updated it to comply with the new updates added in 1.8 while competing with other servers.

I have never heard of Zincbox however after doing some research they are a much smaller server with about 200-300 members on the forums that just have an account with 1 yes 1 person active right now.They probably needed to merge to increase their player base as I assume with that low player base they do not have enough donations to survive on its own so they have to combine to keep it running. In response to your owner and staff being abusive I don't see staff doing that here. So your point in having a lot of properties similar to the MCGamer network is irrelevant.

We are trying as a community to ban hackers. We have moderators here for a reason, to stop rule breakers. However there is not as much as there could be because the MCGamer only accepts staff in the upper echelon and if you say hire more moderators this decreases the high level the staff team maintain while a bad person could then get into the staff team and abuse their powers etc.

Add better chat filters? I don't honestly see a problem with the chat filters however if you think there are some words or quotes that needed to be added why not pm or poke a member of staff your opinion?

I apologise if this was too harsh/ rude but honestly it's the truth.

Personally, I'd love to see the old and more organized server system back, but the points you bring up in favor don't make much sense. I know where you're coming from but it's unlikely they will be switching back from the dynamic system. There was a reason the update was made and even though it may have been more organized unfortunately there isn't much to do. Don't worry, most things are the same anyway

you can't see your rank on the leaderboards (#1, #2 etc.) unless you look through page by page.

Funny thing is that I will play MCSG like I did if they brought the signs back and I know a small amount of people that feel the same way.
