Alright, before we begin, I understand that this is going to be a new idea. I'm pretty sure I'm the first one to bring this up. I'd like everyone to keep an open mind about this.
Now, I've been in a few clans in my day. Some of them went down good roads, some of them bad. They all seem to go the same way eventually. In one of my clans (not going to say names), the clan went completely downhill. Now in my opinion, this is partly due to the players, but mostly due to the leader not listening to what the players wanted to hear. This clan is here to reinforce the idea that players SHOULD and DO have a voice.
Also, as some of you may know, I am now a moderator on a server called "Roxbot." This means that I do not have time to lead a clan. This idea also spawns from that.
MCSG's First Democratic Clan (as far as I know).
As you may see, this clan is heavily inspired by the Roman Empire. In this clan, elections will be held every month for certain positions within the clan. These positions include the ranks of "Leader", "Officer", and "Elite". When elections are held, everyone will have a single vote. Every player's voice is equal. Other things will also be voted upon such as requirements, but we'll get into that later. As founder, I will set some basic requirements which can be changed later.
Requirements:
At least 11 years of age (Must be mature)
No less than 100 wins. (exceptions will be voted on)
Skype/TS (No exceptions)
Dedication
Activity
Rank System:
There will be two elected Leaders of the clan, also known as Consuls. In order to be a Consul, a person must first be elected Praetorian (Elite). This is to ensure that people deserving of Consul will have a good chance of getting it. From Praetorian, you can either be elected Legatus (Officer) or Consul. At a time there will be 5 Praetorians, 3 Legates, and 2 Consuls. The purpose of two Consuls is to check each other's power. There will also be the rank of Emperor (Founder). This rank will only be used in a time of dire need for the clan, such as Consuls running away with too much power.

Clan Battles:
Clan battles will be organized by the Consuls and Legates. Clan battles may also be vetoed by a majority vote from the Plebians.
None so far.
Consul Ejection System:
Consuls may be removed from office either by an intervention from the Emperor or a majority vote by the rest of the people. Since final power rests with the Plebians, if the initial vote fails a 2/3 majority vote from the Plebians will also eject a Consul from power.

Skype/TS?:
Skype Name:
Are you loyal to the clan and all those within it?:
Will you respect the clan and all those within it?:
Will you do your best to remain active within the clan?:
Do you promise to vote fair and justly in elections?:
Again I ask all of you MCSG'ers to please keep an open mind about this idea. Who knows, maybe it will become the new standard. Lets take a leaf out of the Roman and Greek books.
