Moderators That Are Only There For The Perks

First off, I want to thank you for taking time out of your day to read my opinion and I am grateful that you are.
Hey MCSG community. I just wanted to ask people on their opinion and their experience with any moderators, that are only a moderator for the perks. I lot of mods don't even do anything when they see hackers. Responses like I will look into it are very common, but actual action is not. A lot of Mods just use their Mod position on the server, like it's a Donor Rank, for the perks. I am not gonna call out any names but I really think that this is a serious problem :/ What's your guys opinion? Do you guys feel same way?

Also in no way do I mean to say that all Mods are bad, but there are quite a few that do not actually "Moderate". There are many Mods that are amazing and also amazing people I hope that all the Mods should be like that!

Understandably, not every Mod can be available all the time. However, rest assured, the Sr Staff do go through our staff list quite frequently to check for inactivity in Mods. If they do not meet a certain activity requirement, they are either warned or removed off the staff team completely.

I'm fairly confident in the activity of the staff at the moment, and even if a few of them are inactive, or just a Mod for the "perks", I can assure you they will be dealt with very soon. Additionally, if you think from personal observation that a specific Mod isn't performing their job adequately, you may bring the issue up with Sr Staff.

The staff team as a whole works extremely hard to keep the community safe from rule breakers. If you discover a moderator that seems to be lacking in their moderation duties, feel free to report them to a Sr Moderator or above, which you can find in the staff tab located above.

Also, remember that there 149 staff members including Moderators, Sr Moderators, Developers, and Administrators. We strive to have a high quality staff team that will assist you in anyway. If you are in game, and there is a Moderator in the Hub, it may be that they are away from their keyboard at that moment in time. The easiest way to contact a member of staff to assist with rule breakers would be over TeamSpeak (Our IP is ts.mcgamer.net). Poke a Moderator there, and any of them would be willing to help with any issue.
