Hye gis!1!11!
So, I've seen a lot of anger when people heard about this suggestion.
Basically, what this update does, it resets everyone's stats, resets the leaderboards, saves everyone's old stats, and gives us new leaderboard statistics. It is still a suggestion though, so everyone calm down!
I think that it doesn't really matter that they reset stats, if they save the old stats you can count them in your new stats and continue building up your wins. It is really not necessary to cry over them resetting your stats, the most important part is the fun, you never had a chance at top 10 as these guys are stacked on wins. If this is implemented, you actually do have a chance for the first time in two years. We can actually find new Gravey4rds, Huahwis and darkrais.
Only bad thing I see here is them selling stats resets. The ones who bought it, would lose their money, and that would suck for them. This can be solved easily. Give them back the amount of stats resets they had, so people can use it whenever they want. Easy as that.
Overall, it's just a videogame, I know it's bigger part in life for some than it is for others, but we're just giving others a chance too!
Of course more boosting would occur, but boosters get caught and boosting ruins their reputation in the community, so they wouldn't be liked even if they make it high on the leaderboards.
