its one of the servers and none of them seem to work for me :/

You have to own Minecraft, go to multiplayer and paste the ip in "Add new server". Then you can play.

i might buy the game in a store and do it that way - just wondering... how do you connect to different servers?

.....What maxlupus said. GO to Multiplayer and go to add server/ direct connect and type in the server IP's. (us7.mcsg.in)
