Necessary Moderator Application/Staff Changes

In essence, he actually did slasher. You wonder why I brought you up in my thread? Because I do not see you fit to be a staff member.

And I respect that your opinion. If you feel a staff member is unfit to be staff, report that staff member to a higher up.

You may be right and you have changed your ways but the chance of giving a rule breaker power over others can be dangerous (As mentioned before) . MCSG must accept the best applicants to the staff to ensure less problems. Try to take in the perspective of the staff as we only want the best for this community.

I'm sorry you feel that way. However, the reason we do not allow people who have been banned before to be staff is because we want the best people we can get to be moderators for the community.

The staff's main priority from the start and always will be is the community. Whether we're fixing bugs to banning players, we are doing all of this for you the players. Our job is to make an enjoyable environment to play in and have fun for all players who go on MCSG.

Even if your application was 100 thousand times better than anyone's, it still doesn't erase that fact that you have broken the rules. Not getting moderator is part of the punishment for breaking rules.

Well, if his application is 100,000x better than anyone else's, I, as a member of the community, would be more than happy to see him appointed as moderator considering that MCSG is indeed in need of more moderators, even more so since the release of the new servers. His argument, though not entirely accurate with the generalisation and life example comparisons is valid and your most recent response seems to lack understanding.

Feedback is essential in the development of a skill or practice, the one in subject being; meeting the criteria to become a moderator. Judging by his posts, he's an intelligent individual who is able to form and understand the route he needs to (or perhaps has) in order to better and redeem himself to become moderator material and likely isn't the only one. This post will be short as I'm in no fit state to be thinking about a matter like this

Would a staff member reading a app consider the person if they explained there ban in detail and seemed very mature about it? Or would it be a instant no because of there ban history?

Qualia, this post showed more intelligence than I've ever displayed (hopefully. I'm 14 ). I'm so glad there is another person of the MCSG community that I can share mutual opinions with.

I respect your opinion but unlikely. Slasher is a great Sr.Mod, just because he denied your application that shouldn't be the deciding factor if he is a good staff member or not. Sure to you it seems he's doing the wrong decision but once again you've got to understand that everything Slasher and the staff does is to benefit this community. I'm sorry you feel this way but I couldn't disagree with you more.

You miss the point if you believe I don't deem him fit to be a staff member just because he denied my app. That's not why at all. It's because he lacks the empathy and logic to help run a server the way it needs to be run.
