Im starting to see alot more hackers on the servers and less staff...
I think in the time I have been playing I have only seen ten staff members in game and do work

and the hacks are just plain obvious...
MCSG needs to do something fast because its getting to the point where every game I see a hacker
I know I can easily just report them by recording or call a mod but what about the people who cant record etc

Remove the pointless staff members who aren't active and do nothing to help and recruit more active members who are willing to work
Yesterday I saw at least three new mods. I think we are recruiting more active mods already.

That is good :) but I still do think that they should remove the inactive mods
Like who? Some mods only got a forum account to write their app. The reason some are very inactive on the forums is because they are more focused in game then the forums. Although I do agree we need to see if they all are inactive or just in game mods.

I agree, remove the unactive mods because they don't help us with anything (i think). Sr. Mods are reading and rewieving a lot of applications right now so we will see more moderators in the near future.

More moderators ARE being accepted. However, it cannot be up to us to do all the work. There are a lot of servers and there isn't enough mods to have one in every server at all time. That is never going to happen.

But we can't be relied on to do all the work. It's simple to download recording software such as Fraps and Bandicam. If you suspect somebody of hacking, follow them around, record them and then send in a report abuse and we will handle it from there.

If you're really against downloading one of those, download TeamSpeak, join the MCSG at ts.mcsg.in and stay there while you're playing until you see a hacker.
Then, find a mod (somebody with an iron sword next to their name), right click on them and select 'Poke client'. Give the server name, the name of the hacker and what hacks they are using. "EU21, Bob123, Aimbot".

I guess that's true but I hardly ever see mods in game I dont know if there not that many UK mods or I just keep missing them :p

And a mod should not only be in game they should at least somewhat be a little active on the forums
in my opinion anyway
You also have to remember they do have lives, they don't quit there life to only do moderating since they are donating there time to help the community.

I know what you mean that mods cant be in every server I understand that but Im mainly on the topic on how many mods there is and how many never do anything... Mods like yourself who actually took the time to read this post and make a reply to this are the mods who care and do their job right

But if you take a look at the staff section you will see names you have never seen before EVER!
It definitely can't be denied that there are mods in that list who have yet to be removed. But you have to remember, not all mods show up in the online staff list on the forum, some only show up on the Staff page. That can lead people to believe they're never online, when some of them are on a lot.

Yup so many people appear inactive but are active and the same can be said vice versa. The sr staff know of the lack of staff and trust me they are working on it :D If anyone here thinks they would be a good mod then apply. If you dont apply then you cant become a mod and make a change to the community. I never thought i would get mod but look at me now. I would feel lost without being a member of staff.

I don't see that many hackers :/ Maybe I'm just more tolerant? Or just inexperienced.

<--- Was mod for 7 months, people ask why name is purple, I say: I'm ex-mod. They say: "I never knew/saw you!"

Mods are stealthy, invisible, hard to see. Being here for almost 1 year, I can tell you that the hacker rate has been around the same. The only time we had a "sudden burst" of hackers, was when NCP was disabled for one day. Other than that, the amount of hackers are generally the same.

Inactive mods do get removed, the Sr Mods+ see the activity of each mod, if they see that someone has been inactive for 1+months for no reason, then yes, they will be removed. New mods are being accepted every week I believe. But as mentioned before, just because some mods have hardly any forum posts, doesn't mean that they are inactive, I knew one mod who hardly posted on the forums, but was active in-game.
