Opinions of New Golden Apples and New Crafting Recipe.

I like the new Absorption Effect, but I don't like how the crafting recipe was changed to Ingots instead of Nuggets, so now in MCSG just crafting just one Golden Apple a round may be difficult. What do you guys think?

It kinda sucks a little that Golden Apples have been given this new potential, but will very rarely be able to realise it due to the new crafting recipe.
A possible solution could be to slightly increase the likelihood of finding Gold Ingots. However, that does bring forward the problem of a new ease of obtaining gold armour. I know 24 would be needed to craft a full set of armour so it shouldn't affect it too much, but the right balance would need to be found. If anything, though, crafting your own gold armour could be a nice idea to promote instead of just finding it.
Either way, alongside the drain of the food bar for natural healing, PvP has definitely changed quite a bit.

I personally love it. The fact that practically the only way to obtain them is by looting tier 2 chests gives an uperhand to professional players. The way which they regenerate the two gold hearts and how they work allows for some good strategical game play.

If they did that then they would probably have to decrease the availability of other items in chests... Personally I think they should just take golden ingots out of the game seeming they are quite useless now.

They could just put gold ingots as a stack of 2, that would make crafting Golden Apples somewhat easier, and that way the could leave the spawn rate the same.

The regeneration + Absorbtion is moreso OP so I personally believe the recipes should stay how they are. Seriously guys, imagine each GA giving you 4 hearts + 2 each time you ate it. Imagine having multiple of these would be game changing.
