[PETITION] Allowing BSM.

Yeah, the only way changes are made with the consent of the community is through a poll on all the servers. Petitions can often get the attention from Chad or the admins though. For an example, The Arena Master's petition for old school servers, Chad liked the idea and a couple months later we have SG Classic.

True, but this subject has been argued constantly throughout the forums and in this post: http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.c...has-now-been-eliminated-on-our-servers.68715/ Chad was debating with members of the community on this subject and obviously, after the implamentation of the instant banning of clients with BSM, he probably isn't going to allow BSM. I, personally, don't want BSM to be allowed on MCGamer servers.

I disagree. It gives one player an advantage over another, which is unfair and banned on MCSG

Well if it was to be allowed (which I don't want) then it would be in the next update as at the moment, people are deciding between 1.7 sprint key or the 1.6 optifine :/ I think BSM isn't the same as 1.7.2 as the 1.7 sprint stops every now and then while BSM doesn't. They seem similar but there both different

I know BSM will not be allowed but I still think it should be.

I find it unfair how Mac users have an advantage over PC users as they can find sprint to caps lock, mimicking BSMs toggle sprint feature almost exactly.

It is not allowed though as it provides an unfair advante, but it is basically untrackable, as the accused could just defend himself saying he was holding down the sprint key.

This is why i believe BSM should be allowed, it would balance things out.

On the flip-side, currently people with good computers are at a huge advantage since the inability to have both the sprint key AND optifine hurts them a lot less as they get good frames regardless. Also, 1.7 sprint is actually better than BSM if you put a weight on your sprint key as it lets you do everything BSM does except sneak in your inventory, but your sprint also engages in mid-air. In my eyes, there is no reason not to allow BSM.

Yes but this is only temporary, give it a week or two and optifine will be updated.

Also soon you won't be able to join the servers with a 1.6 jar.

Tbh, I want bsm to be allowed but, it isn't going to be allowed whilst the servers are 1.6 and 1.7 compatible. Chad has made his stance on that very clear. So stop making these threads about petitioning to get bsm allowed, because to put it plain and simple; there is no point to it.

I know you want it, and I know there is such a small chance it will be unbanned, but as the saying goes, "If you don't ask, you don't get."
