So I've been playing SG5 alot lately and I'm getting some fps issues. I constantly get about 10-15 fps and I don't know why at the corn, the frames I get are about 30 and up. After leaving the corn it just lags insanely. However, sometimes my fps just get boosted up to 80 when I kill someone, weird right ? And sometimes my minecraft crashes with the error of ticking entity. So if someone can help me I'd be grateful. BTW This problem only occurs on SG5 and not on any other maps.

Ok, so I may or may not have found a solution to my problem. So if you have optifine, turn on these settings, Max chunk updates per frame, Dynamic Updates and Lazy Chunk Loading. When I first spawn in the map i get 15 fps after waiting for like 1-3 minutes my game would jump to 69 fps. No joking. Feedback on this ?

Try putting some settings down, if you don't have optifine I highly recommend it! If you have it then put lazy chunk loading on, their are a lot of chunks and structures that need to load. I play on 20 fps, but it doesn't bother me, and in my case it is a fps traffic map, but just try turning those settings along with lazy chunk loading, helps a lot.

Really ? Cus' I've watched videos of people playing on SG5 and not lagging at all, is it just because their computers are stolen from NASA ? :p

Chances are, if they are a youtuber, they do have an amazing computer. And everything looks different on video mind you. 30 FPS looks like 60 on video.

Are you sure you just don't have a bad computer?

If not, go to THIS link, choose a nickname and type "#minecrafthelp" (without quotes) in the Channels section. Explain your problem and the people there will be sure to help you out.

Try to lock your frames by putting them on Vsync, I don't know if thats possible if you aren't using Optifine. Also if you don't use Optifine, use it ;)
