I'd rather have the regular lobby, but, in certain areas of the lobby, PvP is enabled. Say, you log in, and you look straight ahead. the first thing you see is an arena, and PvP is enabled in there.

I think its a great idea! The only thing I would change would be to add a "safe zone" where PvP is off.

This would just lead to that fist glitch we had back in late last year where a fist would equal an iron sword if you left the lobby with one in hand and then rejoined. (There used to be an area of the lobby with chests with iron swords so you could practice strafing and whatnot)

How would that be organized? You can't exactly have a row of 3 pressure plates dividing the hub with command blocks underneath changing the gamemodes of players from survival to adventure everytime they go across. Besides, if you implemented it that way, you'd have to take out the jump pads and trampolines.

I vote no on this suggestion. If you want to flat-out PVP, that's why we have a KitPVP server. I highly recommend the MCGamer KitPVP. Aside from NCP being slightly overprotective, it surpasses Roxbot and Zincbox as my favorite KitPVP server.
