Quality Better Than Quantity

I really don't mean to offend ANYONE, especially the map makers <3.


But MCSG has recently uh..

MCSG has been getting some smaller and poorer quality maps lately...

I know this is probably to keep up with other popular SG servers, but read the title.

Quality Is Better Than Quantity, so I really hope you guys start accepting some better maps.

This is 100% opinion, and map makers take a lot of time just to build a map. Even Breeze Island, one of the smallest map is quite well built. When you post this, have you thought about map maker's feelings when they realise that people hate their map? I don't know why Freeze Island is unpopular and hated, and krackan may feel insulted. This is just an example before you comment any further

Quality is greater than quantity, but think about it in the map maker's POV. They work for months on a map hoping to get accepted, because they believe in quality over quantity, and it doesnt get accepted, or everyone hates it. This makes them feel like they're Good builders, and then they start to pump out a map every day. Their mindset now is, oh one of 50 that i'm sending has to get accepted. This is the wrong way to think, and you're practically encouraging it. We all know that some of us don't like freeze, and that's an opinion. Some of us hate sg4 bcuz its overplayed. Everyone has an opinion and there's no point to posting a thread bashing a map or a map maker, or even MCSG because it will just be overlooked and you will be looked at as a hater and a troll.

I'm not bashing anyone.

I'm not saying ANYTHING about freeze island.

You guys are looking at it the right way. Do us the favor, and read the thread all over. Do it.

I'm saying, maps are getting more rushed, I'm not saying WHICH ones specifically. I'm not saying they're BAD. I'm saying they're not going to their full potential? Understand guys?
