I'm pretty sure they removed the books because, people didn't read them, and if they did, they threw them in a lobby chest right after :p

:c
That was my suggestion and I don't really think it had any negative affect. I liked sponsoring them to people and collecting them in the lobby. But eh, I at least had one of my ideas in MCSG.

They're not as detailed as the signs when you spawn anyways.
The intention for it was also so that new people had no excuse not to know the rules, because it's in their inventory during all lobbies. Or at least one of probably many reasons :p

Nobody reads them. Period. Even though they weren't purposely removed, they should be. Sorry RC.

Well, the point is that people can't say "I didn't know the rules!" if it was in their hand. It doesn't really take that much effort to put in and helps with banning people, so I think it's fine.

The rule books were good. As RC said, people couldn't make dumb excuses... claiming that they didn't know the rules, when it was right there, in their hand. I liked the rule book...
