People are absolutely doing it to boost their points! All people care about is winning. I'm sure the map makers put alot of time and hard work into making all these maps, and because of the majority of the community consisting of greedy people who only take the time to get good on one or two maps, everyone doesn't get to enjoy all the other great maps. They need to just give them a chance. Survival Kingdom is AWESOME! But since it's new, it won't get picked. People just suck.

The 'usual' players doesn't care a penny about how awesome a map is. The amount of work and effort put into one. All they care is assets and things that benefits themselves.

You say that, but in fact I would say Solar Frost is played a lot. On the other hand I have seen SG1 being picked a lot of the time and that map can last the whole time limit.

I do see Solar Frost and SG1 getting played often, but when Breeze Island or SG4 is up there, Solar Frost will get maybe 2 or 3 votes, so there's obviously something wrong.
