So many hackers recently?

As a loyal MCSG player, I have recently noticed that in the past couple of weeks the number of hackers has sky-rocketed. I have already played againt 20+ hackers over about 30-40 games which is incredibly high compared to the usually 1 or 2 every 50 or so games. It seems that the security has dropped, or that most people can't be bothered to report hackers.

If anyone could please explain to me what is happening it would be much appreciated.

There really is nothing to it besides luck of the draw. Keep on poking mods and recording evidence in order to keep that number as low as possible.

Not really, for the past 3 or 4 months it has been pretty quiet. I think it may be linked to all this 'Peace Summit' shizzle.

I have noticed a recent spike in hackers. This could be due to the fact that there are many staff members away on vacation (I just came off vacation myself), and the fact that it is summer, therefore causing the amount of people playing to increase, thus more hackers appear. Of course this is only an assumption, as there can be many different reasons as to why the number of hackers has spiked. I myself had already made MANY kicks, and way more hackers than I usually have to today.

The only thing we can do is hope and pray, that us moderators (while limited) can resolve this up and coming issue, that was a problem last year as well.

I highly doubt that. There doesn't really seem to be any logical connection.

Yes a Taco said its nothing but the luck of the draw. If you continue to poke mods on team speak (ts.mcsg.in) Then we can deal with them. Also we try the best we can to catch and stop as many hackers as possible. Just keep poking and sending in reporst and we will no doubt get them all as fast as we can.

Ok Guys thanks for resolving the issue, it just seems kind of strange that some many have started appearing. Also, I understand this is slightly off topic but I was wondering why the reason some many new maps have been added?

I haven't noticed an abundance of hackers now, I play EU so not sure if it's a problem with US/CA/AU. Or maybe I am just lucky
