Steve Glitch

Can someone please explain how to fix the Steve glitch. Usually a majority of the people if not everyone in MCSG is always a Steve for me and this usually doesn't happen in any other servers. I thought they would of fixed this by now, it's fixed for all my friends and I'm not sure why it hasn't fixed for me, please leave help.

It could just be skin servers down. Just wait for a while.

This is actually a Minecraft's bug. You just restart your Minecraft and it should work, also the player could have the steve skin and didn't change the skin yet.

Restarting Minecraft just to see skins is very frusterating, I know it's a Minecraft bug, but is there any way to make it so the skins actually load. A website I use to see Mojang servers usually says the skin servers are up in the high 90's if not 100's. I need a solutions at the very least, I appreciate the feedback though.
