Hm, this is a rather interesting topic. Not the usual "Too many teams", but that teams lead to more teams, a domino effect.
After a couple minutes of thought, I don't see any true solution that would help ease this situation. Your idea of the community getting together and force themselves to play solo I don't see as a viable solution. While many people team due to the 'frequency' of teams in-game, there are also the other players who team for other reasons. Myself, for example, will admit that I hardly play solo, and tend to always be playing with a friend. Why? Not to win every game, but I personally find it much more enjoyable. If we were to do this community agreement, I wouldn't find myself assisting in this, for I just don't find solo play fun.
Also, how are we sure that it will convince players to start going solo again? In a team, your main threat to losing is other teams, for you lose your advantage. By many people going solo, it's only making teams easier to win games, and encourage those who team to continue to do so, backfiring our plan.

Those points are not guaranteed, but just something I wanted to bring up in regards to your plan. Besides that, I don't see any true fix to this in our current state of things.
(I feel like there is more than I want to say, but I'm not sure how to put it into words. Might reply again at a later time if I figure it out.)

4 to 5 teams a game? I have no idea where your getting your numbers from, but from my recent study (which can be found here), I don't see your claim as true... From what I've found, it seems to be more so a guaranteed team of two, but a team of larger size seems very uncommon. Wherever your getting your data, I'd like to see it.
I was reffering to how many teams play in a game -....-
At least 4-5 teams and normally they are teams of 2/3

I understand teaming can make it harder to win as a solo player, and it can be infuriating when being teamed on. However teaming shouldn't be banable or have any rules toward's it as it is fun to team, i know i team probably most of my games, but it isn't to win, it is more to have fun playing with friends, and everyone teams every so often whether it is randy teaming or teaming with your friends. It is all just fun and games :)

I get that, but my study shows me otherwise. Out of the 50 games I observed, the maximum amount of teams I found in any game was three, and all off them were teams of two. Also, out of those 50 games, I only saw eight teams of three.
I understand what your saying, but it doesn't match up with the data I found, which leads me to believe your over-exaggerating what you've been encountering.

In case you want to see exactly where I'm getting my data, go view my thread I made about it here: http://www.mcgamer.net/threads/statistics-of-survival-games-2-0.187098/

Did you conduct the study on EU or on US? Stealthy is an EU player. I'd like to believe that there are a lot more teams on EU as the many different sub-communities associate very closely among themselves.

Slightly off topic:
Have you ever seen a two team of hackers trying to co-ordinate killaura toggles .
I nearly died laughing last time I saw one. They basically killed each other off xD

Ah, that's must be where he's seeing different numbers, for I did this study on the US servers. That slipped my mind at the time.
