The topic is supposed to revolve around allowing only teams of 3 and under, not how difficult it is to get people out of holes.Whilst being in a team can be OP, I have also demonstrated how it can be a hindrance when I get stuck in a hole and it takes a friend 10 minutes to get me out. >_<
Yes that would also take down clans, as well as taking a long time to make. After all this how effective would it be? Not very it could be a chase. There could be a plugin that checks if there are 4+ people within close proximity of each other. If they are not damaging each other for a period of time, the players will be kicked/banned.
That's how you could enforce it.
I would like to see you have a go, I predict it would be more difficult than you suspected. They split up multiple times in which you had chances to kill thenm.. You also had more than enough FnS to bring each one low and seperate them.
Yes indeed, hive has a team restricting rule similar to that, but it's because it has a low amount of clans, or in this case, less than mcsg. As well, I think the clans on hive have like 1-3v1-3 battles. Aalso crafty's strategy does work well, but I prefer to split them up by running and waiting for one to go for a cut off, and then using one of my secondaries like fns or bow on one to slow them down and then attacking the other one.I would like to see you have a go, I predict it would be more difficult than you suspected.
As for the topic on hand, teaming should not be against the rules.. Teaming is a part of hunger games, and it always will be. You'd have to allow for truces, people not seeing each other, clan battles, you name it. It's not worth the trouble.
I could be wrong here, but doesn't Hive have a maximum of 4 man teams?
