When I say the v2 chests are crappy, I don't mean the items are useless, I mean that overall they have had a negative effect on my experience here at MCSG. I prefer v1 items.
Honestly, I think it will be a mix of v1 and v2 chests. The amount of food/gear/items in chests will be nerfed. Clocks, compasses, fishing rods, and maps will not be in tier 2's and string, bones, and (maybe) rotten flesh will not be in tier 1's. Not to mention that it will most likely be just 1 arrow and 1 feather rather than 5, which was ridiculous. Cooked fish will hopefully come back to tier 2's. Baked potatoes should only be in tier 2's in my opinion, but they might not be. Carrots will be in tier 1's as well as golden carrots in tier 2's. I am hoping melons/cookies will be completely removed from chests, but chances are it will be 1 melon/1 cookie rather than 2, obviously this being in tier 1 chests. These are just my opinions and what I think will happen.

Forairan, I would just like to say that PLEASE do not move golden apples to tier 3's and don't add horses, it would just ruin the game in my opinion. This is MCSG must I remind you, not survival where you gather 64 apples to tame a horse. With all due respect, please do take this into consideration, I think the way it is now is prefect, let it go on for a long while longer before making any changes please C:

So i'm guessing the horse will be used as a sort of diversion? As in someone is chasing you, you turn around and spawn a horse in their way?

The way golden apples have affected MCSG with its new 2+ hearts it makes Fighting unfair. With this new update, we;re trying to remake the beauty of Survival Games and not PVP games like bobyfish had said in another thread. In v1, we had an aspect for survival along with the struggle to battle and defeat enemies. I am as I feel holding on a string for this new update. V2 isn't BAD, it just IMO made it TOO easy for everyone to obtain good gear. Or Cardboard (Leather) in some cases due to map tiering.
Horses I also believe are not a wise decision to be implemented. If done, Forairan I think would go back and reconfigure it and remove the items for horses. But golden apples being moved to tier 3's is all for the better, making a greater impact on MCSG.

I like the idea of two or three areas of a map where there's loot for days to act as a second battleground for a similarity to PVP in Cornucopia. Tier 3's and the new items will have new areas inheriting massive fluctuating numbers of people throughout the game. I really believe this new style for the game will keep many more veterans happy, and give a more realistic and enjoyable gameplay
