Fishing Rod Tactic
Many of you think that the fishing rod tactic is gone. It is not gone and probably never is going to be gone! The situation may be that a lot of you already know it isn't going to be gone, but some of you may be sad to THINK that it is going to be gone.
Why is it still going to be existent?
Minecraft Vanilla never contained the fishing rods that we see today, the ones in which they provide knock back to our opponents. This effect was always a CraftBukkit sort of thing. Vanilla doesn't have any control over what Bukkit has to offer. So, as long as Bukkit enables fishing rods, (Probably, Forever) the fishing rod tactic will forever be with us.
What is the fishing rod tactic?
The fishing rod tactic is a popular, and effective PvP strategy used in Minecraft. The way the tactic works is all you need is a fishing rod! It takes sometime to perfect, but once you've got it, you become very good at PvP. You basically just right click the fishing rod which casts out the line, and you have to hit the person with the line, which sends them going backwards. It doesn't knock them back very far, but it knocks them just far enough for the tactic to work. Since the fishing rod hits the person, the game acts as if the player has been hit without taking damage, which will result in a combo. Sometimes, you get very lucky and get on a combo. Which is why I say "gg git rekt 10 hearts 2eZ steamrolled"
