List is missing this enlisted beast in this ridiculousness, guess this list is not as bliss as most enriched orifices.

Your opinion of who's the best of the best =/= the opinion of the entire community on who's the best of the best.

Somemugger was arguably the best MCSG player of all time. One could also argue that me and Sixzo are both as good as egrodo, yet I see none of these names on the list. (Keyphrase: One could also argue. I'm making a point here that not everybody would agree, not saying I'm better than most of the people on this list.)

Sadly, the really hard part for something like this is cross regional lag. egrodo vs Gravey4rd wouldn't be quite fair, as one would have the ping advantage. It'd have to be regional, which doesn't work for an overall winner. There really is no way to tell who's the best of the best, it's simply not possible unless we got everybody into one general area IRL, which I'm highly doubting will ever happen. It'd be super expensive and difficult.

Regardless - if you could make it a regional tournament, and have restrictions on who can enter, it could be interesting. However, simply allowing in who you believe is the best and kicking players you believe are worse won't do, really.
This:p And you cant really say 1 player is better than the other for winning 1 fight, lets say the same 2 players have 10 battles and one of the players win 8 out of those 10, you get a pattern, and after that do another 10 battles to see if the pattern repeats, if it does, you can probably tell who is the best out of the 2:)

Well, you could say that, however, I've also noticed that everyone PvP's a bit differently, and has different strengths and weaknesses. It's like playing pokemon. Sure, the fire type will always beat the grass type, but the grass type will always beat the water type, who always beats the fire type...

So yes, you can tell who usually wins, but not necessarily who's better. There are strategies that beat a majority of other strategies, but there is always a weakness, and that weakness has a weakness of it's own, etc...Through this method, one could argue rario7 is the best MCSG player ever. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, he is a US player who had (not sure of his current stats) about 1200 games played and 2 wins at one point in time. :p I'm not saying he sucks, I've never actually seen him in a game, or fought him rather, but that win/lose ratio is absolutely horrific and surely does make it look like he sucks.)

Still, though, it's true - one fight doesn't mean you're better, which is something a few people who have killed me have gotten the idea of. Yesterday and the day before, for example, I was on a horrible losing streak, like, 1 out of 10 games I'd win, or less, (which is pretty sucky for me.) and I simply couldn't play correctly. Normally, I can kill just about anyone with equal gear to me, but this one guy kills me with 5 hearts to spare in roughly equal gear...that one fight was not when I was at my best, and it does not reflect my skill level compared to yours. Being consistent may be a part of being skilled, but there is no such thing as a MCSG player who hasn't had a bad day.

How does one match mean they are the best pvper evahhhhh? All people lose or have off days. I've beaten the top player in EU once. But I dare say I probably won't do it again. I'm basically copying what G33ke is saying but he speaks the truth.

it's not only them invited, just kind of an example. The first 8 who have over 390 wins or who have a really high win/loss ratio can play. sorry for not putting you in the example if you wanted to be a part :\

Lol good on ya for taking win/loss ratio into play for choosing. Having all those wins doesn't mean you are more skilled than everyone else, it just means you have a lot of time on your hands.
For instance, look at Kerbals placing #4 with a 15.8% WLR and then look at me in #129 with a 34.5% WLR.
Just write a sign up sheet and whoever wants to join must go through a screening process and legitimately sign up themselves.

I think not many people agree with oper on this one, so yeah the tournament wouldn't be interesting to watch...
