I agree with everything you're saying 100%. We are supposed to be role models, and we are supposed to follow rules and be mature. The moderator that I am thinking of is still a staff member, I just looked at his/her profile. My point was that moderators are intended to be role models, they are supposed to follow all rules and be mature. This is an argument that I cannot win, not because I think that I am wrong, but simply because that is how things work. There is nothing wrong with baccas, and I have never had any problem with them because it is simply a skin. Moderators do make mistakes, that is true but there seems to be no retribution to anyone who is negatively affected by these mistakes.

If I'm not mistaken about who "started it", it was meant to be more of a joke and more-so meant to be to a few people than going public and becoming a thing people did...
And yes, moderators who make mistakes are dealt with accordingly. A demotion is not the only option you know, it's just the only thing you usually see. >.> It would be stupid if we made public every little "x mod was yelled at for doing x thing wrong".
That aside, back on topic a bit:
Some things with baccas specifically have been taken to the extreme. A lot of people have participated in or understand the concept of "bacca talk", like "plz tem i fan", and then taking that bad spelling and grammar and seying everthng wth it, dood. (that sounded really weird out of me, reading over it now...) I'll be honest, though...I cannot remember any time ever where I saw a bacca speak like that. They may lack fully proper grammar, but some of you guys have taken it way to the extreme.
Nearly every single time I see a post on the forums made by somebody with a bacca avatar, 90% of the responses to them (which they tend to get a lot of.) are filled with "pls dood i fan tem plz" kind of comments and other alike things. (Usually, the full response is typed with it.) Even this, while it might be good for a laugh on your part and the part of whoever reads it, (which I don't see how it is. It's old now...) is offensive to the said group and shouldn't be done. I saw one thread a bacca made, trying to start a clan for baccas, and this was maybe a month ago...out of roughly 50 responses, (many deleted.) there was a grand total of one person who seriously wanted in the clan. Many people in that thread were simply trolling the bacca, through the many fake applications and use of "bacca" language. Even after a mod deleted a good percentage of the posts and replied asking for it to stop, people (even a lot of the same ones.) continued to submit fake applications for the clan and generally making fun of the bacca. It was funny for a few people, but for the bacca it wasn't. You ruined his hope for ever starting such a clan. The way things have been, there simply can't be a bacca clan because their thread will get locked for the trolling that happens before it gets more than 3 members.

I can admit myself to saying things to myself or people in my channel "oh look! A bacca! Let's go kill him!" or "Wow, I got killed by a bacca, how humiliating." and making a few comments that could be considered racist towards the group. The difference is that I'm just doing it jokingly to the group of friends of mine, not anywhere where the bacca could hear it, not even the generally public really. I also actually don't have much anything against baccas themselves. I actually have met a few really nice, mature ones before. It's perfectly fine to joke about it privately to friends. I'm just tired of it all over the forums and in game, especially when a bacca posts and you guys tackle him with their supposed "language". If you can't give the group a chance, or if the numbers of them that actually are hacking/etc are too high for you, at least stop making fun of them directly like I've seen. Think what you want, expect what you want, but don't treat them the wrong way for it.
