As a braniac I have been for a long as I can remember, I had decided to take these questions into consideration with over-analyzing pretty tough questions in regards to astronomy and other fields of science, or simply mathematics. So, our first question is, how BIG is the Minecraft earth?
This question has been asked tons of times to the point videos were made on it. It is quite easy to figure out if you know the basic principles of volume of objects, as well as mass and density. The Minecraft world is 256 blocks tall, from bedrock to the highest placement of blocks, as well as 30,000,000 blocks across each of the 4 quadrants of the world.
We started here using the simple equation we learned in primary school (note that 60,000,000 is used to demonstrate the ENTIRE length and as well as the width of the world.):
V = lwh -> V = 60,000,000 x 256 x 60,000,000 = 921,600,000,000,000,000.
Because of this in units of blocks, it has been confirmed that 1 block = 1 meter^3. Therefore, the total volume of the Minecraft Earth is 921,600,000,000,000,000 m^3.
The area size, however, is much different. It would be this:
A = bh -> A = 60,000,000 x 60,000,000 = 3,600,000,000,000,000 (3.6 x 10^15 meters squared or 3 quadrillion, 600 trillion meters squared.)
The real Earth's surface area is 510,072,000 km^2, or 510,072,000,000 m^2. Compared to Minecraft Earth, Minecraft Earth's surface area is 7,057 times bigger than Earth. That is a huge number.
What about the Sun?
The real Sun is, well, pretty huge. It has a surface area 6.09×10^12 km^2, or 6,090,000,000,000 km^2, or 6,090,000,000,000,000 m^2 (6 quadrillion, 90 trillion). It is pretty much bigger than Minecraft Earth, but what about the Minecraft Sun? This is going to be an extremely hard problem to compare immeasurable units in a computer virtual reality to simplistic reality with measurements everywhere.
Lets begin. The first thing we need is ratios. Remember how the Minecraft Earth was 7,057 times bigger than the actual Earth? Well, this makes it pretty easy to find out how large the Minecraft Sun is without any crazy math. We can first do this.
510,072,000,000 m^2 (Earth surface area) = 3,600,000,000,000,000 m^2 (M. Earth surface area)
6,090,000,000,000,000 m^2 (Sun) x
With these values, we can say that x is going to be extremely huge. If we do this, we get that x equals, for a final amount of:
42,977,130,000,000,000,000 meters squared, or 4542.686 light years.
Compared to the largest star ever, that is 1.81×1025 or 18,100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 m^2. Not as big as this, though.
Luckily the heat would not affect us as much, as the distance from the Minecraft Earth to Minecraft Sun would be 7,057 times bigger as well. I am not going to right out as much as I did with the Sun with the Moon size on Minecraft, but it would be about 268,166,000,000,000 meters squared.
