I think the grace period for sponsoring a sword should be at least a minute and should be used as a last resort.

Yeah I agree. I hate those moments when you are just like full iron but luck makes it so you can never even find a wood axe. Having some weapon option would be awesome.

What else could we add? Lets all try to think outside of the box, im seeing a lot of boat stick, etc. What else? I feel like I want something to spice things up a little

Maybe they should add tnt and cobwebs to the server. Would definitely spice things up!

I don't really know, the staff tried to make a good balance between OP and basic items. OP items would really decrease the quality of the game. In my opinion is the current balance good enough.
