To many hackers, you agree? Your hacking stories

More mods are going to be added, but it would be incredibly difficult to have mods in every single game, and you also don't want mods to make up a large percentage of the community. To have mods in every server, at all time, you would require more than you could trust, and it would be next to impossible to keep them in check.

It's also unfair to leave absolutely everything up to the mods. Yes, it is their job to enforce rules, but they can't do that without help from the community.

But yes, back to the thread...

Not in every game... But I still think 1 mod on 500 guys...

One time on SG4 I went up against a speed hacker, later I fought against him in DM, I got a couple bow shots on him and noticed he turned on his aimbot. Luckily there was a spectator in his face and he kept swinging his sword around and shot an arrow into the ceiling of corn, then I just shot him with the bow again and he died, I had to take a double take since I didn't realize he died...

I was on Breeze and this creeper in a suit starts moving at twice the normal speed, including dashing backwards, and punching me to death. I managed to snap one blurry screenshot which I will edit in later, but I assure you, this elusive beast is real.

Ok. There is a glitch with minecraft that can make people look like they are either hovering in the air or be stuck in the ground. It is not a hack. It just happens sometimes and I have no idea what causes it. Please don't blame people for hacks unless they are really hacking.

But you are right about there being lots of hackers on. I recently played four games in a row and each one had at least one hacker. So hopefully the hackers die down soon.

There was a hacker chasing a guy in the water, and his teammate was chasing the hacker. The hacker starts to swing at the guy he is chasing and hits the person behind him. #TotesLegit.

Generally, what causes this bug is lag - which makes sense if the guy couldn't hit him/he was teleporting around. Could have been a random connection lag spike for you, FlawlessWolf. (generally users being in the ground/air is lag on your part, not the other persons.)

Regardless - One time, somebody poked me on TS one day to check out a hacker - I go on the server to see him sprint hacking, going about sprint jumping speed or a tiny bit faster without sprint jumping. (Obvious sprint particles too, especially during combat. ) After I get enough evidence, somebody in the server tells me to check somebody else - sure enough, he's hacking too, but this was even better. He literally sprinted (at sprint jump speed.) in one direction while ever so slowly spinning around in a circle, eventually sprinting backwards for a full few seconds, looking as if he wanted to show off his hacks. I saw him and the other hacker fight in the deathmatch, and it was just like watching two little sonics run around for 4 minutes before one finally won. That's when I realized the winners username was "sonic" and a few numbers. lolwut.

Needless to say, it was just absolutely hilarious to watch these two run around at top speed getting nothing done, more so than it should have been.

I had the same problem, I was at least 15 blocks high and he was on the ground. He killed me while he was on the ground with his sword. >.>
