Yes, but that doesn't mean that nobody likes those maps. I think it just makes no sense to completely remove them if you can just put them on a rotation so that they will still get played, but they will only be available every week or 2.
I know that some people do like those maps, but most people don't, so I don't see why we have to keep a map that barely anybody likes, but I guess you're idea makes sense...

It simply makes more sense to keep a map on 50% of the time than to completely remove it just because it's underplayed :p

Hey guys,
Since MCSGv2 a lot of Survival Game maps came out. What do you think about it?

Personally I do not really like it because :

- If you play a map so unusually you don't need or can't find a good chest route.
- Good maps like Breeze Island or Survival Games 4 aren't played very often

I think that maps like Frozen Island or Demons Breeze should be removed because Froze Island is just a Breeze Island fake and Demons Breeze laggs very hard. Maybe not if you got the best Gamer-PC but for guys like me who haven't got the best PC it really laggs.

Sure, a lot of guys won't agree so please write your comment I really wanna know it.

Sorry for my bad english, I'm German, but i hope you understood enough.

Cya !
I think that there should be the same amount of maps, but I completely agree with the fact that Freeze and Demon Island should be removed. They are just crappy knockoffs of a very well-made map in breeze island. However all the other new maps are nice

To be honest I do feel some maps should b removed. Some aren't up to standards in my opinions. I'll give some examples:
-Insanity Cause: Extremely unpopular map, the pvp is pretty terribe and it isn't the most fun to look at. It is also overly difficult to traverse.
-SG Japan: Also extremely unpopular, I reasonably lie this map but the unexplainable lag tends to turn people off.
-Freeze Island: I know this map has work put into it but did we REALLY need it? It's like breeze but with ice chases instead of water chases.
-Fortress Pyke: I thnk this map is beatiful and well built but its getting less and less popular and isn't really needed.
-Moonlight Lake: There are some interesting ideas here but overall the map is poorly built, like you cold build this map with Worldedit and VoxelSniper in about a day. I just feel that the quality isn't up with mcsg standards.
-Kahmanrah: This is actually my favorite community map. But it has problems, some places are terribly built and put togather and the size and terrain make it hard to find people. It too is losing popularity I and I think it's a candidate for being removed.

I know some people may disagree but we really do need to start choosing maps mor carefully or mcsg's standard coud fall. Sorry if I sound all high and mighty :p

I think they should take time making and picking maps, a lot of these maps are not very good

I love the fact that there are a lot of maps. In fact, I hope there's even more to be added.

The amount of variety in all these maps is awe-inspiring. Each map has something creative and unique, and there are still more brilliant ideas out there in the community maps. We still have a lot of potential to see, and there are a lot of maps I'd love to see on the servers still.

I really enjoy that you're less likely to play Breeze Island or Survival Games 4. I've noticed a dramatic drop in how often they are played. This is mainly because people have started playing other maps, and finally began to notice that there are other fun maps to play, e.g. Holiday Resort.

With the new voting system being implemented where the previous 4 maps cannot be played, I can see an even greater amount of maps finally getting noticed, and receiving the attention they deserve. And guess what? I can't wait, as there are maps I'd love to start playing a lot more.

There's no such thing as too many maps for MCSG :) . And sg4 and breeze underplayed? Which servers do you play?

I like Insanity Cause, agree with SG Japan. Freeze Island is weird. I don't mind if it stays, but I wouldn't miss it if it left. I love Fortress Pyke though. I've been playing it more and more often recently too. I played it 3 times in a day on Saturday or around then. Lots of people like Moonlight Lake too. Maybe with a bit more terraforming it could be re-added? Kharmunrah is also a good map, and while it is underplayed, it isn`t underplayed to the point where I would want it removed. I want it to stay.
